Configuration Testing Specialist - Health Rules Payor

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Configuration Testing Specialist with in-depth knowledge of Health Rules Payor (HRP) configuration and claims testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with HRP Test Runner and a strong understanding of healthcare payer systems, benefit configuration, and end-to-end claims validation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for Health Rules Payor configuration changes.
- Utilize HRP Test Runner to perform automated and manual testing of benefit, provider, and member configurations.
- Validate claim processing scenarios to ensure system accuracy and compliance with benefit design and payer rules.
- Collaborate with configuration analysts, developers, and business teams to identify defects and track resolutions.
- Analyze test results, document findings, and communicate detailed reports on configuration and claims testing outcomes.
- Support regression testing cycles and verify post-implementation changes for accuracy and completeness.
- Participate in design sessions to provide configuration testing insights and ensure alignment with operational requirements.
- 3+ years of experience working with Health Rules Payor configuration and testing.
- Proficient in using HRP Test Runner for automated configuration and claims validation.
- Strong understanding of healthcare payer operations, including claims adjudication, benefits configuration, and provider setup.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and data validation tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with JIRA, Azure Dev Ops, or similar test management tools.
- Knowledge of EDI transactions (e.g., 837, 835) and claims lifecycle processes.
