The Auditorium Support Engineer will work in partnership with the customer, management team, global helpdesk, and SIG teams to provide on‑premises support for AVI‑SPL customers at customer site(s) with the end goal of delivering a world‑class customer service experience.

WHAT YOU’LL DOThe Auditorium Support Engineer will work in partnership with the customer, management team, global helpdesk, and SIG teams to provide on‑premises support for AVI‑SPL customers at customer site(s) with the end goal of delivering a world‑class customer service experience.
DAY‑TO‑DAY RESPONSIBILITIES- Work in tandem with onsite Technical Producers in executing events as directed in runs of show.
- Creation of graphical meeting assets ahead of production events.
- Operation of control room technology with an emphasis on Tricaster hardware and audio boards.
- Analyze trends and root cause analysis of trouble tickets to assist in improvement of conference room performance.
- Assess business impact of serious/complex outages/problems & make recommendations collaborating with engineers & project managers.
- Provide technical consultation, support, and act as lead site contact for all production operations & maintenance.
- Assist with bringing new rooms online and interfacing with client personnel to implement scheduling & reporting procedures (overseeing room‑readiness acceptance testing).
- Execute all aspects of multimedia event support including system set up & operation, end‑user training, troubleshooting and follow‑through on escalation of trouble incidents occurring during any event.
- Perform pre‑event setup, first and second level problem determination and resolution as necessary according to standard operating procedures.
- Lead or assist, as required, with the support of special events, high‑profile senior executive meetings, town hall meetings, as directed by operational needs.
- For off‑site events:
Set up, testing, operation, and teardown of AV & video conference equipment; (e.g. video data projection systems, computers, audio and video conference equipment, microphones, video cameras, audio systems and operation of integrated AV systems). - Install small or portable audio visual and non‑integrated AV hardware in non‑traditional event spaces.
- Perform and report on first and second level problem determination.
- Troubleshoot, assess, & coordinate equipment & systems repair as required.
- Create, update and resolve trouble tickets as assigned.
- Interface with technology vendors where additional support or infrastructure is required.
- Compile and maintain room and equipment inventory.
- Maintain conference room integrity in compliance with standard operating procedures; perform regular preventive maintenance checks (e.g. either report or address troubles such as cable management issues, safety standards non‑compliance, etc.).
- Manage and deploy provided spares as required.
- Adhere to user documentation and SOPs as required.
- Interact in person, by phone, and/or e‑mail directly with management and end‑users.
- Recommend measures to improve performance and increase efficiency.
- Experience using Tricaster technology (Required)
- Experience working in sophisticated auditorium environments including but not limited to lighting operation, camera switching, audio board operation
- Experience in the creation of graphical assets for high‑profile meetings such as lower thirds
- Production background
- Ability to perform in a team‑oriented environment
- Ability to work in a process‑driven operation
- Comfortable working in different control rooms or meeting spaces
