Scrum Master Pharma (Hybrid Lawrenceville, NJ)

We are seeking a Scrum Master for our global pharmaceutical client. The focus of the role is to partner with program leadership on a high-priority transformation initiative focused on redefining CRM workflows and driving full ownership of solution delivery. This role will lead cross‑functional teams in defining clear data and UI requirements to enable intuitive, insight‑driven pre‑call and post‑call experiences with minimal friction for field users.

The ideal candidate will guide agile execution from requirement refinement through wire framing, ensuring solutions support structured planning, seamless execution, effective follow‑up, and reduced administrative burden. Experience leveraging modern data and AI‑driven frameworks is preferred to deliver scalable, user‑centric outcomes in a dynamic environment.

This is a 40‑hour per week, 12‑month contract (extensions possible), 50% onsite at the client’s office in Lawrenceville, NJ. The position is a W2 role with Stage 4 Solutions, and health benefits and a 401(k) are offered.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Assist the team in defining sprint goals, planning tasks, and estimating effort for each sprint.
  • Work with the Product Owner to ensure the product backlog is well‑groomed, prioritized, and ready for upcoming sprints.
  • Coach team members on Agile principles and practices, helping them adopt Scrum methodologies.
  • Identify and remove impediments or obstacles that may hinder the team’s progress.
  • Promote a collaborative team environment where open communication, trust, and respect are encouraged.
  • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams—including data scientists, machine learning engineers, software developers, and other stakeholders—to ensure alignment and integration of projects.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
  • Facilitate sprint retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and implement actionable plans to enhance team performance.
  • Continuously assess and improve Agile processes and practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure team performance and project progress.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Proactively address and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Over 6–10 years of experience as a Scrum Master, with a proven track record of successfully delivering software development projects;
Pharma GxP software development experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and best practices.
  • Proficient in Jira and PPM software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and engage stakeholders.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings, discussions, and decision‑making processes effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
  • A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI‑ACP) is a plus.
