SAP FICO Architect

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end SAP FICO solution architecture aligned with business and finance transformation goals
• Lead S/4
  
  HANA Finance implementations, rollouts, and conversions
• Define system architecture, financial data models, and global template design
• Configure and oversee GL, AP, AR, AA, and CO modules
• Drive financial process optimization, automation, and compliance adherence
• Conduct workshops, requirement gathering, blueprinting, and solution design
• Lead data migration strategy, validation, and reconciliation activities
• Ensure seamless integration with MM, SD, PP, HR, and external systems (Ariba, Concur)
• Implement S/4
  
  HANA capabilities including Universal Journal, Fiori, and real-time reporting
• Design and deliver financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, cost reports)
• Support period-end/year-end closing and financial consolidation processes
• Guide and mentor SAP FICO teams, ensuring quality and best practices
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve complex functional and integration issues

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP FICO modules: GL (New GL, parallel ledgers), AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cash Management, CO
• Expertise in CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, Product Costing, COPA (costing & account-based)
• Experience with S/4
  
  HANA Finance, Universal Journal (ACDOCA), New Asset Accounting, and Business Partner (BP) integration
• Knowledge of FSCM (Credit, Collections, Dispute Management) and Treasury & Risk Management (TRM)
• Experience with SAP Ariba, Concur, and cross-module integrations (MM, SD, PP, Success Factors/Payroll – preferred)
• Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS, financial closing, reporting, and compliance
• Hands-on with S/4
  
  HANA implementation/migration (Greenfield, Brownfield, Central Finance)
• Experience in data migration tools (LSMW, LTMC, Migration Cockpit), cleansing, and reconciliation
• Exposure to Fiori apps, financial reporting, and Group Reporting
• Working knowledge of IDocs, APIs, interfaces, batch jobs, and ABAP debugging (basic)
