Azure SQL IaaS/PaaS SME

a) Technical expert in MS SQL services in Azure Cloud - IaaS and PaaS including configuration and customization

b) Has migrated databases from on-prem to Azure Cloud using various techniques including Data Migration Assistant

c) Is intimately familiar with Azure SQL Server's DDL/DML/DCL/DQL

d) Is responsible for migrating on-prem databases to Azure including DB performance tuning

e) Is familiar with Azure Dev Ops, especially automated deployment of Azure components/Services with focus on SQL Server (IaaS+PaaS)

Azure Infrastructure SME

a) Technical expert in configuring and customizing Azure infrastructure, Need Migration experience and experience on IaaS components

b) Has extensive experience in Infrastructure as Code within the context of MS Azure Dev Ops and automated deployment to Azure using ARM templates

c) Is experienced in development of automated deployment scripts for Azure components/services for multi-tier applications

d) Is familiar with Azure Dev Ops

Azure Architect

• VM provisioning, Power Shell scripting, Dynamic and Static routing, Configuring Microsoft Internal / External Load Balancers,
• Configuring Vnets, Subnets, Configuring Azure Active Directory Sync, Configuring Network Security Groups (NGS), Access Control Lists (ACL),
• Configuring NICs, Configuring High Availability of SQL Servers,
• Experience in Setting up Disaster Recovery for Cloud Environments

Hands on experience in deploying/support Kubernetes (on any public cloud or on-prem) for a large scale enterprise.

Minimum of 3+ years of experience in defining and implementing cloud/Azure based large solutions.

Analyzing and identifying applications for cloud assessment and fitment, mapping workloads across IaaS, PaaS and private clouds.

Implementing and hosting large, complex workloads (windows and non-windows) in Azure IaaS and configuring correct VM size and storage selection.

Experience in implementing and configuring/re-platforming large database solutions in Azure using SQL Server and Oracle.

Experience in implementing hybrid connectivity between Azure and on premise using virtual networks, VPN and Express Route.

Experience in configuring subnets and NSGs in Virtual Networks

Experience in configuring RBAC for Azure Resource Groups

Experience in configuring custom tags for Azure Resource

Experience in defining highly available, DR solutions in Azure

Experience in defining cloud strategy for enterprise

Experience in building CI/CD methodology in Azure using technologies like VS online, Jenkins, TFS etc.

Experience in automation solutions using Azure Resource Manager, Power Shell

Microsoft certified Azure certifications (preferred)

Experience in Azure automation and Dev Ops (preferred)

Sr. Application Engineer

The application Engineer is involved in most technical facets of the project lifecycle. He is the primary on understanding the technical specifications and working within the various globally dispersed teams to build and configure environments according to the designed specifications. The application Engineer works closely with all the stakeholders to configure and deploy custom business applications from POC and inception through to Production.
