Manager, Business Reporting & Analytics
Responsibilities- Serve as a strategic leader in business reporting, working closely with CBUs and CBTs to understand reporting needs and priorities.
- Collaborate with Senior Managers of DSE to identify key metrics and insights that will inform business strategies and decisions.
- Provide thought leadership on the development of impactful reporting solutions that drive understanding of market and brand performance.
- Design and build comprehensive reports that synthesize data from multiple sources, ensuring clarity and relevance for stakeholders.
- Present findings and insights in a clear, actionable format to senior executives and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating informed decision‑making.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitive activity to ensure reporting remains relevant and aligned with business goals.
- Train and support CBU and CBT teams in utilizing reporting tools and interpreting data to enhance their decision‑making capabilities.
- Foster a culture of data‑driven decision‑making across the organization by effectively communicating the value of insights and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
- 6+ years of experience in business reporting, analytics, or related roles, preferably within the consumer packaged goods or healthcare sectors.
- Expertise in syndicated market data and familiarity with BI/OLAP platforms and solutions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large data sets into meaningful insights.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed organization and influence cross‑functional teams.
- Advanced degree in Econometrics, Data Science, Engineering, Business, or Marketing.
- Experience at a Tier 1 Management Consulting firm.
- Knowledge of scenario planning, war‑gaming, and optimization techniques.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately $118k–$178k. Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive program (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.
