Our client, a leading organization in the data analytics and technology sector, is seeking a Applications Lead to join their dynamic team. As an Applications Lead, you will be an integral part of the Data Support and Engineering department, supporting a global user base across multiple Azure-based production environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

- Own and lead technical support for complex data analytics solutions supporting global users.
- Resolve complex incidents related to large datasets, heavy transformations, and performance bottlenecks.
- Guide support analysts and collaborate with engineering and product teams to drive root cause analysis and implement durable fixes.
- Troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines, platforms, and configurations across Databricks, SQL Server, and Azure data services.
- Serve as the escalation support technical lead for challenging cases involving large-scale data processing.
- 8+ years of experience in application support, technical leadership, or data platform troubleshooting roles.
- Hands‑on experience with Azure Data Engineering and Python programming.
- Proficiency with Databricks, PySpark, including workspace management and data transformations.
- Strong T‑SQL skills, including database design, stored procedures, performance tuning, and advanced querying techniques.
- Experience with large‑scale data wrangling, troubleshooting end‑to‑end ETL pipelines, and understanding of RDBMS concepts.
