Lucis Medical Ops Lead
At Lucis, we believe healthcare should be preventive, not reactive. We're building the operating system for human longevity to help people add more healthy years to their lives.
As our Medical Ops Lead, you will help turn clinical knowledge into reliable, scalable systems that can serve millions of people. You will work directly with the product lead, medical team, AI team, and operations team to make sure our clinical processes are medically rigorous, operationally efficient, and ready to scale across Europe. You will structure how medical knowledge is created, reviewed, documented, implemented, and continuously improved across the product.
This is not a traditional clinical role and it is not a content-only role. You think like a doctor, operate like a builder, and use AI as a daily collaborator.
You could own:
- Clinical operations
- Protocol operations
- AI and clinical knowledge operations
- Medical quality and governance
You are a doctor who believes the future of medicine is preventive, personalised, scalable, and powered by AI. You want your clinical expertise to reach millions of people, not only the patients you can see individually. You enjoy creating structure in ambiguous environments. You are comfortable moving between clinical reasoning, operations, product, data, and technology. You do not just identify medical problems.
You build systems that prevent them from happening again. You thrive in fast-moving environments, learn by doing, and treat feedback as a tool for continuous improvement.
You'll fit in well if:
- You hold an MD.
- You have meaningful experience in preventive medicine, general medicine, longevity medicine, cardiology, public health, or another relevant clinical field.
- You have strong clinical judgement and are comfortable working across multiple medical domains.
- You are highly organised and able to turn complex clinical knowledge into clear processes.
- You think in systems, workflows, and decision trees rather than one-off solutions.
- You are comfortable working with product, engineering, AI, operations, and design teams.
- You use AI tools daily and naturally.
- You can balance medical rigour with speed and pragmatism.
- You are proactive and take ownership beyond the boundaries of your role.
- You are fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.
- Experience in a startup, healthtech company, clinical operations team, or technology-enabled care environment is strongly valued.
We might not be a fit if:
- You want to focus primarily on traditional clinical practice.
- You prefer working on individual cases rather than building scalable systems.
- You are uncomfortable making decisions in ambiguous environments.
- You expect every process and responsibility to already be clearly defined.
- You are uncomfortable with technology or prefer to avoid new tools.
- You do not want AI to be part of your daily workflow.
- You prefer to wait for instructions rather than proactively identifying problems.
- You have little interest in operations, processes, documentation, or quality systems.
- You prioritise predictable nine-to-five work over mission intensity.

The process:
How we work:
We work together from our Paris hub. We are deeply committed to what we are building and believe the fastest way to create something exceptional is to work side by side. We can support relocation for the right person, and we welcome people based elsewhere in Europe who are willing to travel regularly to work with us in Paris.
Rigor without ego Science, clinical operations, audits, and code all deserve the same high standard.
Radical ownership Feedback loops are short, and everyone contributes beyond the boundaries of their job description to build the best possible version of Lucis.
Velocity over perfection We ship every day and prefer a good decision today over a perfect decision next week.
AI-native by default At Lucis, AI is not only our product; it is our operating engine. Every team member has access to the best available AI tools and agents. You will have the freedom to explore, automate, and redesign workflows so that your time is spent on the highest-value work.
