Senior Product Systems Analyst

About the RoleThe Senior Product Solutions Analyst will work closely with the Business Architecture Solution Design team, Process Owners, and Business Stakeholders to fully understand insurance business processes and system needs. This role will collaborate with Everest technology teams to understand system capabilities, define scope, support IT sizing efforts, and write business system requirements to meet delivery timelines. This position is responsible to follow delivery best practices and ensure Business Architecture standards are met for the projects they deliver.
Responsibilities- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment on business needs and system capabilities.
- Partner with Underwriting leaders to understand product design and then lead / facilitate requirements gathering stakeholder sessions.
- Translate business specifications into detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
- Develop and maintain business requirement documents in the Requirements Library.
- Support data mapping, field definitions, and integration requirements across systems (Policy Admin, DMS, Rating, Intake, etc.).
- Mentor and coach team members on Business Architecture processes and best practices.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with Product Owners.
- Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Create and manage Jira stories and tasks, ensuring traceability to business objectives.
- Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments for proposed changes.
- Collaborate with QA teams to define test plans and support UAT queries.
- Monitor and evaluate implemented solutions to ensure they meet business needs.
- Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvement recommendations.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst in technology-driven environments.
- Deep understanding of commercial insurance products such as:
General Liability, Property, Auto, Workers' Compensation, Excess, and Accident & Health. - Experience with services such as ISO, NCCI, and AAIS.
- Familiarity with Policy Admin systems such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, Innoveo, and Policy Decisions.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and other Agile project management tools.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
The base salary range for this position is $77,000 - $135,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications, and work location.
