In this role, you will join a team working at the ground floor of a 0-to-1 build. You will drive the execution and delivery of Barclays' Digital Assets Platform, coordinating engineering, product, architecture, operations, risk, legal, controls, compliance, and business stakeholders.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining delivery momentum, managing dependencies, removing blockers, and ensuring strategic initiatives such as institutional wallets, tokenized deposits, stable coins, and digital asset infrastructure are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with regulatory expectations. If you are a delivery leader who can align teams, manage dependencies, and drive execution across a complex digital asset platform while balancing engineering priorities, business objectives, and regulatory requirements this is an ideal role for you.
To be successful as a Senior Release Train Engineer VP – Digital Assets, you should:
- Bring proven experience leading complex technology delivery programs across multiple agile teams within regulated environments
- Demonstrate expertise in Agile delivery, dependency management, release planning, execution tracking, and delivery governance
- Be highly effective at driving alignment across engineering, product, architecture, risk, legal, controls, compliance, operations, and business teams
- Be comfortable identifying execution risks, removing blockers, resolving dependencies, and maintaining delivery momentum across multiple work streams
- Possess considerable communication and stakeholder management skills, including preparing executive updates, governance materials, and leadership reporting
- Understanding of digital asset platforms, institutional wallets, tokenized deposits, stable coins, blockchain infrastructure, and digital asset settlement
- Experience managing vendor onboarding, third-party dependencies, procurement, and technology delivery partners
- Knowledge of technology risk, operational resilience, regulatory controls, and audit readiness within financial services
- Experience with workforce planning, budget tracking, delivery metrics, and program operating models
- Confidence using AI-enabled productivity and planning tools to improve reporting, coordination, decision-making, and delivery efficiency
This role is located in our Whippany, NJ office.
Minimum Salary: $155,000
Maximum Salary: $225,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose
Facilitates and coordinates Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to ensure that multiple teams within a program are aligned and delivering value efficiently. To manage dependencies, remove impediments, and oversee the planning and execution of Program Increments. Foster collaboration across teams, ensures alignment with business objectives, and drives continuous improvement in large-scale Agile environments.
