Affinity FCU is looking for an experienced Data Supply Chain and Data Products Manager to join our team!

The Data Supply Chain and Data Products Manager is a strategic role that bridges data supply chain operations with data product development, ensuring that enterprise data products are available, accurate and actionable across the full data supply chain lifecycle. This position also helps support Risk, Compliance and Audit teams to ensure company complies with all legal and regulatory data requests.

The starting salary range for a new hire in this role is $110k to $120k. The wage/salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several qualifying factors, including but not limited to: years of relevant experience, years of industry experience, education, etc.

This position is HYBRID, with a minimum of 2-3 days per month required at our corporate headquarters in Basking Ridge, NJ.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Enterprise Data Supply Chain Ownership
  • Ownership of the end-to-end data supply chain strategy
  • Define and manage data flows aligned to business processes and domains
  • Drive improvements in data reliability, interoperability, and scalability
Data Product Management
  • Define and manage a portfolio of enterprise data products (core datasets, domain data assets, semantic layers)
  • Apply product management practices
  • Drive standardization of data models, structures, and interfaces
Enterprise Business Architecture Alignment
  • Partner with business and architecture leaders to align data products with business capabilities and processes, enterprise operating models and domain boundaries
  • Support the evolution toward a data mesh architecture
  • Ensure consistency of core business definitions and metrics across domains
Data Governance & Standards
  • Support and enforce enterprise data standards,
  • Partner closely with the Leaders of Data Architecture & Data Governance to ensure:
    • Shared standards and definitions
    • Alignment on governance frameworks
    • Consistent enforcement across domains
  • Steward critical data domains and shared assets
Adoption, Enablement & Operating Model
  • Drive adoption of standardized data products and enterprise data assets
  • Establish best practices for data product consumption and reuse
  • Define operating models for:
    • Data ownership and stewardship
    • Domain accountability
    • Federated vs. centralized data management
  • Measure and communicate value delivered through improved data supply chain efficiency
MISCELLANEOUS RESPONSIBILITIES
  • All other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, Business Management or equivalent is preferred. MBA or similar advanced degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years in a similar or related function (data supply chain management, data product development, data engineering, analytics, etc.) is a requirement.
TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Extensive knowledge of financial services products and tools required (i.e., deposit and loan products, core banking platform, loan origination/servicing processes)
  • Development expertise with Snowflake, Oracle, and/or MS SQL required
  • Operational experience with Snowflake preferred
  • Data Engineering experience including ETL/Data Pipeline development and operations preferred
  • Development experience with Reporting and Analytic tools (e.g., Tableau) preferred
  • Salesforce experience desired
  • Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite (Jira) or similar team-based planning, tracking, and collaboration suite, as well as adaptability to additional tools and processes as needed.
  • Experience with productivity and presentation software required (i.e., MS Office/Office
    365 tools)
