Overview
The Person al Lines Underwriting Support CSR is responsible for assisting the underwriting centers in growth and profitability by performing functions closely related with underwriting functionality and profitability. These functions require the use of:
Personal Lines Underwriting Workstation (PLUW) and its systems;
Personal Risk Underwriting Notes System (Portrait);
Masterpiece (MPRT) processing and its related systems;
Other Personal Risk Systems – PLS, DRC, @Work, and RiskID.
- Policy transaction processing and updating underwriting notes
- Create and send producer correspondence letters
- Non-renewal processing
- Alarm Credits, VAC Appraisals, and Wind Mitigation Forms
- Meet all established productivity, service and accuracy goals
- Accurately maintain company records
- Recognize trends and make recommendations; assist with improving workflows
- Develop positive relationships with operations staff, agents, underwriting and personal risk business partners
- Additional job responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager
- Demonstrated superior customer service skills
- Demonstrated time management skills: ability to manage multiple priorities with focus on results
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with team members and business partners to achieve positive results
- Quality conscious with a strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated problem solving skills – analytical and solution development
- Masterpiece systems and processes
- Knowledge and proficiency with RiskID, PLUW, Portrait is a plus
- General:
Proficient/Intermediate MS Office skills, Outlook - Knowledge of Chubb Personal Risk Products
