Supply Chain Lead - Telecom

This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential for long-term employment.

The Supply Chain Lead is responsible for building and managing the end-to-end material supply chain supporting telecom network deployment. This role will establish and optimize supply chain operations, including demand forecasting, distribution partner management, inventory governance, and material planning. The position translates engineering forecasts and construction schedules into actionable material plans, oversees purchase order and material release activities, and ensures materials are available and aligned with project timelines.

As the organization grows, this role may expand to include team leadership responsibilities. The Supply Chain Lead partners closely with Engineering, Construction, and Finance to support efficient network deployment and continuous operational improvement.

• Build and manage material demand forecasts supporting telecom network deployment.
• Establish and manage relationships with distribution and warehouse partners.
• Coordinate material availability and release schedules with construction teams.
• Oversee purchase order creation and material tracking activities.
• Develop KPIs, scorecards, and performance reviews for supply chain partners.
• Partner with Engineering, Construction, and Finance to align material plans with project schedules.
• Identify and implement process improvements to support scalable growth.
• Support the development of the supply chain organization as the business expands.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 5-7 years of experience in supply chain or materials management.
• Experience managing distribution or warehouse partners and the full material lifecycle.
• Demonstrated ability to build processes from scratch in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong forecasting experience.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• High technical aptitude; strong Excel skills required.
• Familiarity with Sitetracker and/or Net Suite is a plus but not required.
• Experience in telecom, broadband, fiber, utilities, construction, or infrastructure preferred.
