Job Overview
Title:
Sr Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist – Non-Driver (Non-Auction) Management Level Individual Contributor.
Location:
Specified Cox location (no remote option). Travel as required.
Compensation: $22.07–$33.13 per hour, plus potential commission or incentive.
Key Responsibilities- Build relationships with the Manheim Auction commercial team and management.
- Communicate via the recorded line phone system and manage multiple email boxes.
- Process manual orders and AS400 system orders.
- Manage escalated client VINs with carriers and agents.
- Monitor holds and verification delays; handle AutoIMS for transit delays, cancellations, and ETA updates.
- Follow up with carriers on VINs, process fees, post‑assessorial charges, and hold‑harmless releases.
- Investigate and resolve carrier kickbacks and order entry failures.
- Ensure carriers meet planning commitments and create corrective actions for vendors.
- Maintain master data accuracy for location files.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics; report findings to senior leadership.
- Generate transportation data reports for management.
- Execute all duties as directed by supervisor and think creatively to solve problems quickly.
- Work independently in a hybrid environment, demonstrating high urgency in a dynamic, fast‑paced setting.
- 1–3 years of administrative experience, automotive industry preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license, successful background check, and drug test.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and customer‑service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and precise data entry.
- Some college education.
- 1+ year(s) experience in transportation dispatching.
- 1+ year(s) experience in sales or call center.
Employment requires a pre‑employment drug test. The company does not conduct a marijuana test for this role.
