Supply Chain / Planning - Reports to:
Planning and Purchasing Manager - No direct reports
- Basic function:
Schedule manufacturing operation to ensure availability of items under planners control with minimum negative impact on manufacturing. Coordinate and organize multiple activities as well as to recognize and consider business goals and act to positively impact them.
- Plan and schedule material requirements to support production and customer demand.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimal stock to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
- Create and manage purchase requisitions/orders based on material requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery of materials.
- Track supplier performance and expedite critical orders when necessary.
- Collaborate with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to align material availability with production schedules.
- Review and analyze demand forecasts, production plans, and inventory trends.
- Resolve material shortages, delivery delays, and supply chain issues.
- Maintain accurate planning parameters and material master data in the ERP/MRP system.
- Prepare inventory, material availability, and planning reports for management.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and improve planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and health & safety requirements.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to interact with all levels in all departments.
- Must have basic math skills.
- MS Office proficiency.
- Project Management.
- Ability to work independently, self‑motivated.
