Director of Warehouse Operations

Trinity Solar is the nation’s largest privately held residential solar and roofing company. We are seeking a Director to own warehouse operations. This assist in formalizing our purchasing function, bring rigorous cost control to materials management, and drive efficiency.

This role has broad scope and direct access to executive leadership.

This role may also consist of the oversight of Fleet and Procurement.

Compensation consists of $150,000 / year + incentives.

• Lead warehouse operations across multiple markets, ensuring safety, inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and team performance.
• Oversee fleet operations, including vehicle utilization, preventive maintenance, regulatory compliance, and cost management.
• Partner with executive leadership to support the development of a formal purchasing function by helping establish sourcing practices, purchase order processes, vendor management standards, and cost-control initiatives.
• Own materials planning by forecasting inventory needs based on installation schedules, maintaining appropriate stock levels, and driving inventory accuracy.
• Identify and implement process improvements that reduce costs, improve service levels, and increase operational efficiency across warehouse and fleet operations while supporting broader supply chain initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of managers, fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate closely with field operations, finance, and other business partners to ensure material availability, budget alignment, and operational visibility.
• Foster a customer-focused culture by treating branch and field operations as key internal customers and ensuring warehouse and fleet teams consistently deliver exceptional service.

• Proven experience leading warehouse operations within the residential solar industry, with a strong understanding of materials management, installation workflows, and inventory control.
• Experience supporting purchasing, sourcing, inventory, or supply chain initiatives, with the ability to contribute to the development of standardized procurement processes.
• Strong financial and analytical skills, including experience managing budgets, evaluating cost drivers, and utilizing data to support operational decisions.
• Experience with demand forecasting, inventory planning, and materials management in a production or installation environment.
• Demonstrated success leading managers and building high-performing operational teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong overall systems aptitude.
• Ability to work onsite in Wall, NJ, with travel to operating markets as business needs require.

• Experience overseeing fleet operations.
• Multi-site or multi-market operations leadership experience.
• Knowledge of residential solar materials, bill of materials (BOM) structures, and installation sequencing.
• Experience working with ERP and CRM systems, including Net Suite and Salesforce, is a plus.
