Our client, a growing third-party logistics (3PL) organization, is seeking a highly analytical and business-minded Senior Analyst
- Operations & Procurement to support operational performance, procurement strategy, carrier/vendor management, and cost optimization initiatives.

This position will analyze transportation and operational data to identify trends, improve processes, evaluate vendor and carrier performance, and uncover opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining service levels. The Senior Analyst will work closely with Operations, Procurement, Finance, Transportation, and external carrier/vendor partners.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with practical logistics and procurement experience and is comfortable turning complex data into actionable business recommendations.

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled individual to join our team as a Permanent Operations & Procurement
- Senior Analyst. This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to our company's growth and success by leveraging your expertise in operations, procurement, supply chain, and finance. You will be responsible for managing our inventory, ensuring efficient procurement processes, and providing insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making. This position requires a strong understanding of 3PL (Third-Party Logistics), advanced Excel, Power BI, SQL, and WMS (Warehouse Management System).

Responsibilities

Lead the strategic planning and execution of procurement activities, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.

Manage inventory levels to optimize cost efficiency and meet operational requirements.

Develop, implement, and maintain procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Analyze procurement and operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives.

Leverage advanced Excel, Power BI, and SQL skills to generate comprehensive reports and provide actionable insights.

Utilize WMS to manage warehouse operations and ensure the efficient flow of goods through the supply chain.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in operations and procurement, with a focus on inventory management and 3PL.

CPP, CSCP, CPSM, CPIM, or similar procurement, supply chain, finance, or analytics certifications are desirable.

Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SQL, and WMS.

Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of operations and procurement.
