Visit.org is looking for a passionate and ambitious Vice President of Logistics to join our team. The Vice President of Logistics will lead global end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution, ensuring scalable, efficient, and high-quality operations across procurement, warehousing, distribution, and international logistics. Responsibilities:Strategy & roadmap
- Build the 2 to 3 year logistics strategy roadmap to support international growth, including automation, systems, and organizational design.
- Continue to develop a global scalability plan to support e-commerce growth and international expansion.
- Lead strategic operational decision-making across supply chain, logistics, and e-commerce enablement.
- Own the link between logistics performance and the broader business outcome ,on-time, intact delivery is the corporate partner and beneficiary experience for a meaningful share of the business, not just a systems problem to solve.
- Own global end-to-end logistics planning, including international distribution.
- Own customs, duties, and trade compliance strategy ,HS code classification, tariff optimization, and sanctions/denied-party screening across all markets served.
- Manage inventory planning, replenishment, and global supply management.
- Build network-wide capacity plans ,labor, 3PL capacity, inventory buffers ,ahead of seasonal and event-driven volume spikes.
- Lead warehouse setup, warehouse management processes, and ongoing improvement.
- Enable omnichannel fulfillment strategies in partnership.
- Oversee global 3PL setup, performance management, and continuous optimization.
- Manage relationships and performance of global wholesalers, vendors, delivery partners, and logistics networks.
- Oversee vendor negotiations and contracting to drive cost efficiency and operational resilience.
- Own risk and continuity planning ,single-provider dependency risk, disaster recovery, and alternate carrier/route fallback plans across the global network.
- Drive cost-to-serve modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning.
- Own the logistics budget and cost center, including capital planning for automation and warehouse buildout, and represent performance against plan to finance leadership.
