The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for a wide variety of activities including shipping and receiving material, maintaining inventory and associated records as it pertains to ongoing and future projects. The Warehouse Specialist will work in accordance with the organization’s office policies and procedures, keeping in mind the overall core values of Allied Universal Technology Services.

• Show integrity and accountability of all inventory in the warehouse; ensure that good housekeeping practices are followed at all times
• Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy and condition of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Check incoming shipments for damage and match up packing slips to purchase orders
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in the proper staging warehouse area while maintaining efficient utilization of storage space
• Pull and stage project materials as requested by Project Manager
• Conduct monthly cycle counts and annual inventory of warehouse stock and update electronic records in ERP system; responsible for all material movement in ERP system
• Ensure that inventory transactions are accurately logged, and all discrepancies and damages are investigated and reported
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects and report any damage to supervisor
• Perform light maintenance/facilities duties and perform other tasks as assigned by General Manager
• Assist with deliveries to clients
• Transfer parts to and from Project(s) and Service ticket(s) when requested
• Transfer parts to and from other locations when requested for optimum profitability
• Ship and receive products through Fed Ex and other carriers for timely and efficient movement of materials
• Assist with Fleet Management
• Control the RMA process

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in similar warehouse duties
• Minimum of one (1) year of shipping and receiving experience
• Minimum of one (1) year of computer experience with Sedona, SAP or equivalent
• Ability to multitask and handle constantly changing work assignments with critical deadlines
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors and employees
• Possess strong attention to detail, must be a quick learner
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Basic computer skills

• Driving experience to assist with deliveries
• Forklift experience
• SAP experience

• Salary range: $21 - $27 hourly
• Medical, dental, vision, retirement plan, basic life, AD&D, and disability insurance
• Eight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days
• Vacation time is offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly. Unused vacation is only paid out where required by law.
