Job Summary

The Janitor at TD SYNNEX Corporation is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment for all employees and visitors. The role ensures a professional and healthy workspace. Shift: 7am-3:30pm or 9am-5:30pm. Pay: $20/hr.

• Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of offices, common areas, restrooms, and break rooms.
• Empty and clean waste receptacles and dispose of trash in designated areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, replenishing supplies.
• Clean and maintain break room areas, wiping down counters, tables, and appliances.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Respond to and clean up spills and other urgent cleaning needs promptly.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and report needs to management.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners.
• Follow all safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assist with setting up and taking down for company events as needed.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proven experience as a janitor, custodian, or similar role.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies and safe handling procedures.
• Familiarity with operating cleaning equipment.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to complete tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Effective communication skills, written and verbal, to interact with colleagues and management.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to company policies and procedures.
