Director of Maintenance

Facility: Arnold Walter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center
Location: Hazlet, NJ
Schedule: Full-Time
Salary: $80,000 - $85,000/year

• Oversee all aspects of facility maintenance and plant operations

• Coordinate daily department operations and ensure regulatory compliance

• Conduct routine inspections of equipment, systems, and facility grounds

• Supervise maintenance staff scheduling, assignments, and training

• Maintain repair logs, inspection records, warranties, and compliance documentation

• Ensure adherence to all safety standards and facility regulations

• Manage repairs, preventative maintenance, renovations, and emergency response needs

• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience

• Prior supervisory or management experience required

• Nursing home or healthcare maintenance experience preferred

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed

• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance systems preferred
