About the Role
As a front‑line supervisor, you will support the Delivery Manager in the day‑to‑day operations of our back dock/loading teams. The Distribution Supervisor is accountable for meeting or exceeding all operational goals through strong interpersonal communication, strategic planning, and a commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate builds strong professional relationships across departments, is an agent of change, and prioritizes the safety of both our team and our customers.

Responsibilities- Team Leadership:
Hiring, training, coaching, and supervising loadout personnel to maintain high performance and morale. - Operational Oversight:
Managing daily receiving, storing, and shipping of materials. - Inventory Management:
Overseeing load accuracy through our systems, stock control, and reconciliation. - Logistics Coordination:
Organizing, scheduling, and tracking carrier shipments, including optimizing routes and transit times. - Efficiency Improvement:
Using data and analytics (TMS, Jalapeno systems) to identify bottlenecks, improve productivity, and manage workflows. - Ensure compliance with all DOT, OSHA, and Misfits Market safety standards, including seatbelt use, safe forklift operation, proper lifting form, and maintaining a clean, secure facility.
- Monitor and assess team performance against established KPIs, implementing strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and overall operational excellence.
- Foster a collaborative and transparent environment, ensuring effective information flow across departments for on‑time delivery.
- Complete all assigned trainings and inspections with your team to ensure a safe working environment. Maintain excellent record keeping to meet regulatory standards.
- Optimize resource allocation, including workloads and equipment, to meet operational demands efficiently.
- Lead and mentor front‑line delivery staff to foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, safety, and teamwork.
- Support overall distribution volume, including helping drivers complete routes or working overtime as needed.
- Identify training needs within the team and coordinate with HR and Learning teams to implement training programs.
- Able to adapt to changing priorities, delegate, and manage time efficiently.
- Safety‑focused with strict adherence to company standards and safety procedures.
- Able to analyze problems and strategize for improved outcomes.
- Physically capable of standing, bending, squatting, and lifting up to 50 pounds (with or without accommodation).
- Previous leadership experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
- Familiarity with DOT and OSHA regulatory requirements.
- Experience training others to new processes or procedural updates.
- Aptitude for equipment operation and troubleshooting.
- Excellent leadership, team building, and people management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.
- Excellent conflict‑resolution and decision‑making abilities.
- Experience or certification in Lean Six Sigma, PMP, TPM, or other relevant certifications.
- Experience conducting root cause analysis investigations.
- Salary $65,000–$75,000.
- Unlimited PTO.
