AEGIS TECHREP provides on-site direction, oversight, and support that validates the total AEGIS weapon and combat system design.

Through over 40 years of continuous AEGIS TECHREP support, BAE Systems has grown in technical expertise, capability, and effectiveness. As a trusted partner, BAE Systems brings tailored Project Management Body of Knowledge best practices and an experienced Program Manager (PM) with many years of experience managing large complex programs. This ensures that AEGIS TECHREP remains the pre-eminent technical authority providing comprehensive engineering rigor and oversight of AEGIS Combat System (ACS) and AEGIS Weapon System (AWS) development.

While past excellence serves as compelling indicators of continued future success, we must constantly evolve our processes and tools to provide our customer predictable and reliable support. The candidate will oversee the PMO and its functions, with specific attention to fiscal year budget planning, Government allocation tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis. You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary engineering team and will have full authority to lead planning activities within the programmatic guidelines set by the program manager and customer.

  • Ensure engineering efforts are planned and executed in accordance with company policies, procedures, processes, and best practices.
  • Provide the coordination between the engineering team and functional managers to ensure all necessary reviews are conducted and approvals are received.
  • Collaborate with government points of contact to define strategic direction and requirements, ensuring seamless integration into program Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and established financial frameworks.

The ability to communicate, coordinate, collaborate, and lead in a visible and proactive manner is an imperative aspect of the role, and will be evaluated equally alongside specific, applied experiences. Experience with resource allocation processes is required. The ideal candidate will be highly engaging, team-oriented, customer-focused, and able to respond rapidly to a dynamic programmatic environment. Required Education, Experience, & Skills
