We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics Manager to oversee operations at a major distribution center located in Monroe Township, New Jersey. This on-site position presents a significant opportunity for career advancement and is designed for a motivated individual passionate about optimizing logistics and warehouse management. Remote or hybrid work is not an option for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the distribution center's functions, ensuring that quality, productivity, cost, and service key performance indicators (KPIs) are consistently met and improved.
  • Optimize the use of time, space, and movement within the facility to enhance cost-efficiency.
  • Collaborate with company managers and executives to achieve monthly sales targets and ensure timely processing and shipping of orders to dealers and distributors.
  • Support strategic business initiatives with a thorough understanding of logistics objectives.
  • Manage relationships with third‑party transportation and logistics providers.
  • Oversee the purchasing of all equipment and supplies for the distribution center.

Compensation: Anticipated salary range is $77,180 – $115,580 annually.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 7 years of related experience, including management of at least two full‑time employees, one of whom must be exempt.
  • Proven management skills with training in supervision, problem‑solving, and motivation.
  • 5‑7 years of experience in distribution management and 2‑3 years in planning and inventory control systems.
  • Strong knowledge of freight transportation and shipping/receiving processes.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and developed interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience in leading, coaching, disciplining, and training teams.
  • Familiarity with Distribution Center safety training and programs is an advantage.
  • Experience in budget management and financials is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and inventory control systems is a plus.
