Order Picking Supervisor

As we continue to rapidly grow, we have a career opportunity available for a talented and motivated individual to join our Taylor Farms New Jersey team as an Order Picking Supervisor located in Swedesboro, New Jersey.

• Supervise a large team (greater than fifty) of employees to ensure daily execution of order fulfilment and customer shipments.
• Train, schedule, mentor, coach, and evaluate employees.
• Ensure required order fulfilment, accuracy levels, and shipping deadlines are achieved.
• Maintain and improve procedures to track and measure productivity and efficiency including accuracy, throughput, and quality.
• Meet departmental labor targets and budgets.
• Consistently communicate and drive accountability around expectations and standards to all team members.
• Maintain a clean, clear and organized work environment, adhere to the company’s good manufacturing practices.
• Ensure accurate inventory levels and product rotation.
• Effectively communicate with other supervisors and managers.

• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic computer skills required including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to learn and operate required functions in the company’s ERP and WMS system.
• Individual should be a self-starter with ability to analyze and improve existing processes and systems.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisor or manager position.
• Ability to demonstrate competency in managing large employee group (e.g. development of KPIs, creating a training program, promotion rate of employees etc. etc.).
• Previous experience in warehouse inventory management preferred.
• Previous order fulfilment experience preferred.
• Individual should be a strong leader and developer of people who can motivate colleagues and direct reports to achieve daily goals.
• Must possess a “lead from the floor” mindset and leadership style. This job requires ~75% of time to be spent directly supervising the operation from the floor.
• Excellent mathematical skills.

• The schedule for this position is Sunday-Thursday from 6 AM-finish (last shipment out, average 10 hr. shifts),
