Operator, Forklift - 2nd shift

Position:
Forklift Operator;

Shift: 2nd.

Location:

Seabrook, New Jersey. Reports to Warehouse Supervisor.

Starting hourly rate: $20.64/hr with a $0.35/hr shift differential. Medical insurance offered through Local Union 152.

• Load and unload finished goods.
• Use BOL and FIFO method to load trucks; complete load accordingly.
• Tag and properly store finished products from production lines in safe, efficient, orderly fashion.
• Communicate shortages to Warehouse Supervisor.
• Use RF scanners to capture movements and QAD for tag edits.
• Ensure product rotation, shipping oldest items first; use pick sheets for rotation and report discrepancies.
• Maintain product quality: correct tagging and prevent damage; handle damaged products under clean-as-you-go program.

• One (1) year of forklift experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience in the food/beverage industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented; ability to multi‑task.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Credibility and integrity.
• Build and maintain professional relationships.

Requires sufficient physical ability: stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, bend, crouch; push/pull; lift up to 50 lbs; use hands/fingers on machinery. Exposure to wet/humid conditions, temperature fluctuations, toxic chemicals, dust mask, confined entry with LOTO, noise, high‑speed equipment. Vision and hearing requirements described.
