Pay Rate: $31.25/hr ($65,000/year)
Contract Duration: 6 months (potential for extension or conversion)
Shifts:
1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) & 2nd Shift (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM)
- Shift Requirement:
Candidates must be willing to work both shifts as needed - Industry Standards:
Role operates in a strictly regulated cGMP/FDA cleanroom environment. - Specialized Training:
Includes a 4-week comprehensive program covering Radiation Safety Certification, gowning, and SOP processes. - Technical Focus:
Requires experience with aseptic techniques, isolator operations, and safe handling of radioactive materials. - Educational Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or significant equivalent experience.
Randstad is partnering with a global leader in medical imaging to hire a Radiopharmaceutical Production Technologist II for their state-of-the-art facility in Springfield, NJ. In this role, you will be responsible for the "just-in-time" production of diagnostic and therapeutic agents that empower clinicians to find, fight, and follow disease.
Your Typical Day- Production:
Execute daily manufacturing activities according to approved Batch Records and SOPs using automated and manual synthesis systems - Aseptic Operations:
Perform aseptic dispensing of individual product vials within isolator cells. - Facility Readiness:
Support cleanroom readiness through manual cleaning, environmental monitoring, and isolator sterilization - Compliance:
Maintain strict adherence to Radiation Safety (ALARA) and PPE requirements at all times. - Quality Support:
Assist with deviation investigations, root cause analysis, and qualification/validation activities.
- Experience:
1–3 years of GMP cleanroom manufacturing experience (or 5–7 years of equivalent experience). - Skills:
Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and a "team player" mentality. - Preferred Background:
Familiarity with aseptic fill-finish and isotopes such as I-131, Lu-177, F-18, or Cu-64 is a major plus. - Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate cross-functionally.
