Field Service Technician

Overview

A leading manufacturer of precision screen printers and automation equipment for the military, medical, and aerospace electronics industries is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing complex machines at various customer locations. Applicants must possess strong technical abilities, including in-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical system assemblies, and should be proficient in reading schematics and using diagnostic tools.

A technical school or college degree is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to facilitate customer training and produce detailed service reports. Position requires approximately 10 days of travel per month. When not traveling the technician will be assisting at the Lebanon, NJ manufacturing location to assemble and wire these hand-built machines. The majority of trips are in North America, although some international trips are required.

• Install, maintain, and repair complex machines at customer locations
• Read schematics and use diagnostic tools
• Collaborate with customers to train on equipment and prepare detailed service reports
• Assemble and wire machines at the Lebanon, NJ manufacturing location when not traveling

• Technical school or college degree preferred
• Strong mechanical and electrical systems knowledge

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to travel approximately 10 days per month (majority in North America; some international trips)
