We’re Hiring: CNC Machinist
High Bridge, NJ | 2nd Shift Available (+10% shift differential)

At Trident Maritime Systems – Custom Alloy Division, we specialize in producing high-quality seamless and welded pipe, tube solutions, and custom fabrications for both defense and commercial clients. We’re looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team and help deliver precision parts that meet exacting standards for critical applications.

This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, understands machining processes, and values working in a hands-on, team-driven environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Operate CNC and manual machining equipment to produce parts to exact specifications
  • Upload, verify, and adjust CNC programs for optimal performance
  • Configure tooling, offsets, and perform minor program edits as needed
  • Conduct in-process inspections to ensure parts meet dimensional tolerances
  • Read and interpret blueprints to document and verify measurements
  • Maintain machines through routine care and troubleshooting
  • Handle materials within the shop using forklifts and other equipment
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflows
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company standards
What We’re Looking For
  • A willing to work 2nd shift.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; apprenticeship or vocational training preferred
  • Basic experience operating and programming CNC or manual machinery (lathes, grinders, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to read/interpret blueprints
  • Familiarity with shop math (fractions/decimals) and material properties
  • Competence with inspection tools (calipers, gauges, etc.)
  • Knowledge of part holding, deburring, and general machining practices
  • Safety-conscious and team-oriented
