Job Summary
This position is for a Material Handler to work on-site in the stockroom.
Job Responsibilities- Pull and pick material for production kits
- Perform daily cycle counts
- Fill material requisitions from production floor
- Properly label and identify material
- Maintain inventory records using MRP/ERP system
- Locate and transfer part shortages within the plant that may be required for completion of assemblies.
- Check goods received for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintain records of goods and reject unsatisfactory items.
- Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped.
- Review customer orders, examine, stock, and distribute merchandise, products, and materials in inventory warehouses, distribution centers or manufacturing lines.
- Utilize reel counters when necessary.
- Verify and maintain associated stock records, logs, shortage reports and other documentation.
- High School diploma
- 0-3 years of experience
- Ability to work under a microscope as needed
- Microsoft Suite experience and general knowledge of computers
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong writing and numerical skills
- ERP/MRP Experience (preferred)
