** Job Summary
** Control or operate machinery or equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line. May be expected to handle heavy machinery.
** Key Responsibilities**
* ** Machine Operation:
** Set up, operate, and shut down manufacturing machinery, including extruders or computer-controlled tools.
* ** Quality Control:
** Inspect finished products to ensure they me specifications.
* ** Maintenance & Cleaning:
** Perform routine preventative maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and keep the work area clean.
* ** Monitoring & Efficiency:
** Monitor production processes to optimize performance, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
* ** Reporting & Documentation:
** Record data regarding materials used and products produced, ensuring accurate documentation.
* ** Safety Compliance:
** Adhere to all safety protocols and health regulations to prevent hazards.

Skills and Qualifications
*** ability to read/understand shop floor papers, understand technical manuals, and operate machinery.
* Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift materials (often up to 50 lbs.)

* Ability to communicate, work with a team, and report issues to supervision.
