Mechanical Assembler/Welder – Bloomingdale, NJ

Control Associates is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler/Welder to join our manufacturing team. This role involves crafting precision control panels, piping systems, and assemblies for critical industries.

• Read and interpret complex P& to fabricate industrial control panels and electrical panels.
• Fabricate piping racks and skids for critical industrial applications.
• Assemble systems using stainless steel tubing (.035‑.049 wall thickness).
• Work with PVC Schedule 80 and CPVC materials.
• Perform TIG root welding (≈20% of role).
• Assemble components using Schedule 10 through Schedule 160 pipe wall thicknesses.
• Apply compression fittings with precision and expertise.

• 3+ years assembling industrial control panels.
• Ability to read and interpret complex P& with accuracy.
• Expert-level proficiency with hand tools for precision assembly.
• Experience with stainless steel panels, PVC, and CPVC.
• Capable of lifting up to 65 pounds; physically demanding tasks including 30% of day standing.
• Rapid learning curve—quickly grasp processes, deliverables, and pace.
• Background in Construction, Mechanics, Fluid Handling, and/or Pneumatics (preferred).
