- Troubleshoot production issues directly on the floor
- Lead root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions
- Support new product launches, mold trials, and validations
- Partner with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams
- Develop SOPs and standardize best practices
- 5+ years of process engineering experience in plastics manufacturing
- Hands‑on experience with extrusion blow molding strongly preferred
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize processes in production
- Strong understanding of materials, tooling, and molding equipment
- Experience with SPC, DOE, or Six Sigma tools (preferred)
- Comfortable working on the production floor—not just at a desk
This is an onsite, hands‑on role supporting a 24/7 manufacturing operation.
The position requires regular presence on the production floor and alignment with 12‑hour production shifts as needed to support troubleshooting, process improvements, and key production activities.
This structure allows you to be closer to the process, respond in real time, and make faster, more effective improvements—not just analyze problems after the fact.
A typical day could include troubleshooting a process issue on the floor, running a trial, and working directly with operators to stabilize and improve performance.
