We are seeking a Production Lead to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As a Production Lead, you will be accountable for coordinating daily production activities, supporting line coverage, and ensuring products meet quality and safety standards while keeping production flowing efficiently.

- Hourly Rate: $25
- Lead and support production employees by coordinating staffing, assigning work, and providing shift coverage
- Operate and assist in key production areas (Mixing, Sheeter, Oven, Packing) to ensure workflow continuity
- Maintain accurate production documentation and ensure timely SAP data entry
- Partner with cross‑functional teams—Quality, Maintenance, Sanitation, Shipping—to support smooth operations
- Support training, coaching, and cross‑training to build team capability and drive continuous improvement
- Monitor compliance with GMPs, safety rules, food safety standards, and equipment procedures
- Participate in root cause analysis, AOE activities, and daily line walks to identify and resolve issues
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 years of related production experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 1 year of Lead Operator experience and 6+ months of Ingredient Operator or related experience
- Ability to understand and operate mixing and dough processing equipment
- Ability to read scales, temperatures, and complete production paperwork accurately
- Strong communication skills with the ability to read and interpret SOPs, safety rules, and reports
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and SAP
- Experience in fast‑paced food production or bakery environments
