Production Associate ; Welder

Base pay starts at $17.75 - $24.00 per hour. 1st

Shift: 7AM-3:30PM Monday-Friday.

Location:

1 Silverline Dr., North Brunswick Township, NJ 08902. The Production Associate 2 (Welder) is responsible for operating welding equipment in a fast‑paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment.

• The Production Associate (Welder) operates welding equipment and manages high‑quality welds according to production standards.
• Operates various hand tools to manually construct window units.
• Sets up welding equipment and selects appropriate materials based on specifications.
• Operates welding machines to fabricate and assemble window frames using various welding techniques.
• Ensures accurate measurements and alignment during the welding process.
• Performs quality inspections/audits and engages in problem‑solving activities to resolve work issues.
• Inspects finished products for quality and makes necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by following procedures and regulations (5S / PPE / LOTO).
• Collaborates with team members to optimize production processes and efficiency.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for the duration of the entire shift.
• Must cross‑train and rotate on various workstations within line/complex.
• Ability to measure lengths accurately to 1/32”.
• Proficiency in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division across units of measure, including whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Able to read schematics, drawings and diagrams.
• Capable of using computerized equipment.
• Experienced in operating foam filling machines.
• Ability to move carts in and out of production areas.
• 1–3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
