Fed Ex - - Responsibilities:
Load and unload packages onto/off trailers by scanning, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 100 pounds;
Read labels, verify numbers, and follow work instructions while meeting productivity metrics;
Perform general housekeeping tasks including sweeping, unpacking, and detrashing vehicles or shipments;
Attend safety meetings and report unsafe working conditions immediately;
Assist in orientation of new hire package handlers as needed
