We are looking for skilled welders, fabricators, or maintenance technicians who want a rewarding career and great compensation at Wastequip.

• Position parts in jigs or fixtures on bench or floor, or clamp parts together along layout marks.
• Lay out, position, and tack weld work pieces.
• MIG weld along vertical, horizontal, and overhead weld lines.
• Connect regulator valves to oxygen and fuel gas cylinders for cutting torch.
• Turn regulator valves to activate gas flow, light torch, and adjust gas mixture and pressure to obtain desired flame.
• Hold and guide torch at proper angle to cut metal.
• Examine weld for bead size and other specifications.
• Scarfs or groove welds and parts.
• Chip or grind off excess weld, slag, or splatter.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Regularly stand, walk, reach, stoop, lift, climb or balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.; frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.; occasionally lift and/or move 90 lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required include distance vision, close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

• High school diploma, GED, or technical school preferred.
• MIG welding experience is required.
• Six months or more of related experience and/or training preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Knowledge of basic math, tape measure reading, fractions & decimals.
• Ability to understand and carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to read blueprints and measuring tape.
• Experience in a fast‑paced production environment preferred.
• Ability to pass all required EHS tests and clearances.

• Competitive Pay (Welders start at $23.74 per hour;
  Fabricators start at $20.66 per hour; Maintenance Techs $32.05 per hour; all positions receive an automatic pay raise every 6 months).
