Forge Supervisor – Drop Forge & Screw Press

Lead Forging Operations. Drive Safety, Quality & Performance. We are seeking a skilled and driven Forge Supervisor with hands-on experience in Drop Forge and Screw Press operations to lead our production team. This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality forging operations while developing a strong and engaged workforce.

• Lead daily operations across drop forge, screw press, saw, grinding, and inspection areas
• Plan and coordinate production to meet output targets and delivery schedules
• Supervise, coach, and develop a high-performing hourly team
• Monitor production performance and report daily metrics
• Ensure all forging processes meet strict quality and process standards
• Inspect dies, presses, and work-in-process; identify issues and drive corrective actions
• Support and manage tooling, dies, and forging parameters
• Train and onboard new employees in forging operations
• Set work schedules and optimize productivity
• Participate in technical reviews of forging processes and improvements
• Enforce safety policies and regulatory compliance at all times
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean principles
• Support special projects and operational improvements

• Hands-on experience with Drop Forge and/or Screw Press operations is REQUIRED
• Strong understanding of forging processes, die handling, heating, and metal flow
• Experience troubleshooting forging defects and production challenges

• Bachelor’s degree preferred OR High School Diploma + 5+ years of experience in a forging/manufacturing environment
• Prior supervision experience, preferred
• Proven leadership experience in a forge shop or heavy manufacturing setting
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with tooling and process optimization
• Six Sigma knowledge is a plus
