Description
As a Mixing Operator II, you will be an integral part of our pharmaceutical manufacturing team. Your primary focus will be on operating and maintaining our state-of-the-art mixing equipment, ensuring it functions seamlessly and adheres to the highest industry standards. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the quality and integrity of our products, thereby upholding our reputation for excellence.
Essential Functions- Perform and verify the proper setup of all mixing equipment, ensuring it is fully prepared and safe for operation.
- Execute and confirm mixing tank cleaning and operation procedures in accordance with approved SOPs. Set appropriate spin times and accurately introduce material solutions into the batch using a peristaltic pump.
- Perform and verify the cleaning and operation of mixing tanks used for bulk material processing, ensuring readiness and compliance before each use.
- Update all batch records in alignment with SOP requirements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and real‑time documentation.
- Record each step of the manufacturing process upon completion of bulk liquid production, maintaining the Production Batch Record (P ) for every batch produced.
- Ensure all scales, balances, and other calibrated equipment are within their valid calibration dates, with calibration stickers properly affixed and clearly visible.
- Verify weighing scales and confirm calibration status prior to initiating any ingredient verification or weighing activities.
- High School or GED General HS Curriculum – Preferred
- 2 years or more in pharmaceuticals manufacturing with high school or GED experience.
- 3 years or more in pharmaceuticals manufacturing with less than high school or GED proven related experience.
- Required to read, write, and communicate in English – Intermediate
- High‑school level math and mechanical skills – Intermediate
- Flexible to work extended hours when required – Intermediate
- Ability to work as part of a team – Intermediate
- Attention to detail and accuracy – Intermediate
- The ideal candidate shall have the education, training, and experience, or any combination thereof as defined in this job description.
Hourly rate for this position ranges from $19.50 to $26.50 per hour. In addition, Amneal offers a short‑term incentive opportunity, such as a bonus or performance‑based award, within the first twelve months. Compensation will ultimately be determined based on qualifications, experience, geographic location, and other relevant factors.
