- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities (e.g., PMs, breakdowns, repairs, rebuilding) to optimize plant equipment and support the production of quality chemical intermediates, energies and finished products.
- Perform specialized predictive and preventive maintenance equipment inspections; troubleshoot, plan and install or modify plant equipment and related systems in accordance with Key Performance Measure, Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety/regulatory requirements, and divisional goals.
- Fill out and review Permit Cliqs (work permits) in conjunction with operation personnel prior to starting a job.
- Ensure all lockout‑tagout procedures are followed.
- Locate equipment problems and discuss potential causes.
- Recommend practical solutions for technical problems.
- Diagnose and repair VFDs, PLCs, motors with associated controls, protective devices, breakers, fuses, overloads, relays, conduit & cable, transmitter calibration controllers, switches and metrology.
- Troubleshoot, assess, inspect, adjust, and make repairs as needed to facility flow, pressure, temperature, and level instrumentation, including transmitter flow devices, level controls, and temperature measurement.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including routine calibration, thermography, and ultrasonic testing.
- Additional responsibilities as defined and provided by leadership.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting process loop control 4‑20mA.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing VFDs, PLCs, 480V 3‑phase motors with associated controls, knowledge of protective devices, breakers, fuses, overloads, relays, conduit & cable, transmitter calibration controllers, switches, MCC buckets and metrology.
- Minimum of 4 years maintenance‑related experience.
- Must be available to work weekends, overtime (including coverage and standby), and holidays as required; able to function/cross‑train in primary craft.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job including but not limited to maintenance of process equipment in shop floor situations.
Hourly wage: $29.23 – $37.93.
