As a Technician on our production team, you'll play a critical role in assembling, testing, and repairing electro-mechanical control systems used in Aerospace & Defense applications. Working in our state-of-the-art, climate-controlled manufacturing facility, you'll collaborate with production and engineering teams to meet quality and delivery goals while supporting some of the industry's most advanced platforms. We'll also provide the opportunity to complete on-site solder training to expand your skillset and prepare you for broader career growth.
WhatYou'll Do
- Assemble, test, and troubleshoot electro-mechanical actuation systems and subassemblies.
- Read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and drawings.
- Conduct work in compliance with mil-specs, customer specifications, and regulatory standards.
- Operate and maintain electronic instruments, test equipment, and precision tools.
- Diagnose causes of test failures, rework units, and recommend corrective actions.
- Support equipment maintenance and ensure all hand tools remain in clean working order.
- Document work accurately, track parts usage, and maintain test data.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing and supporting Lean manufacturing ideas.
- High School Diploma (minimum); A.A.S. in Electronic Engineering Technology preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing/testing environment (less experience considered with a recent A.A.S. degree).
- Strong background in CCA testing and debugging (required).
- Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical product measurement and testing.
- Proficiency with a variety of electronic test equipment.
- Knowledge of Lean concepts, ESD/FOD controls, and PPE.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic PC skills.
- U.S. Citizenship required (due to federal defense regulations).
- Modern heated & air-conditioned facility.
- Exposure to a shop floor environment (fluids, fumes, moving parts, vibration, etc.).
- Use of PPE as required (eye, hearing, and foot protection).
- Some travel may be required (5–10%).
- Regular standing, sitting, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Ability to lift/move up to 45 lbs.
- Strong manual dexterity and vision requirements (close, distance, peripheral, depth perception).
Pay Range: $30 - $39 per hour
