About the RoleWe are seeking an Operator 2, Bakery-Mixing to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As an Operator 2, Bakery-Mixing, you will be accountable for producing consistent, high-quality dough by accurately mixing ingredients according to established recipes while maintaining safety, quality, and production efficiency standards.
Core Accountabilities (What You'll be Doing)- Operate and monitor mixing processes to ensure consistent dough quality and adherence to recipes
- Control ingredient measurements, mixing times, and temperatures to meet product specifications
- Support production flow by ensuring timely dough availability aligned with line capacity
- Maintain accurate production records and enter mixing data into SAP systems
- Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, and quality standards at all times
- Inspect equipment, verify scale accuracy, and maintain proper functionality of mixing tools
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including sanitation of equipment and storage areas
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 6 months of mixer or related production experience
- Ability to follow recipes and operate mixing equipment with minimal supervision
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and ability to read scales and temperature gauges
- Ability to accurately document production and ingredient data
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods in a production environment
- Basic computer skills and ability to use operating screens and systems
- Experience in a fast-paced food production or bakery environment
- Familiarity with SAP or similar production tracking systems
- Knowledge of dough mixing processes, fermentation, and temperature control
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Hourly Rate: $21.00
Shift: 3rd
