Associate Production Tech (Diag Tech), Filling - 2nd Shift Location

Hours:

3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Shift Structure Notice:
This role adheres to a highly regimented manufacturing environment. Candidates must arrive promptly at 3:00 PM, take collective breaks and lunch at strictly scheduled intervals, and complete workstation cleanup prior to departure at 11:30 PM.

The Associate Production Tech handles the labeling, physical inspection, and packaging of final container products using both manual and automated production line configurations. Operating within a heavily regulated diagnostic environment, this role ensures all intermediate and final kits meet compliance thresholds. Candidates must be comfortable standing or remaining at a single production line station for the duration of the shift, executing physical, highly repetitive inspection and packing tasks while maintaining accurate manufacturing logs.

• Production Line Operation:
  Participate in the filling, labeling, and packaging of final products using manual and automated machinery in accordance with formal Production Manufacturing Records, SOPs, ISO standards, and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).

• Aseptic Filling Environment:
  For individuals assigned to Filling Operations, perform mandatory aseptic gowning protocols and execute sterile filling tasks within controlled, cleanroom suites.

• In-Process Quality Control:
  Conduct physical quality attribute checks (including fill volume verifications, bottle cap torque checks, vision system audits, and label alignment reviews). Visually inspect products for imperfections, physical defects, or non-conformance.

• Documentation & Data Entry:
  Complete necessary manufacturing paperwork, imprint computer-generated labels, and conduct basic SAP transactions to trace raw material lot numbers, intermediate variables, product expiration dates, and volume reconciliations.

• Sanitation & Suite Maintenance:
  Clean and decontaminate work surfaces and clean rooms in accordance with strict chemical procedures, safety standards, and Quality System Regulations (QSRs). Perform scheduled environmental monitoring inside active filling suites as directed.

• Logistics & Warehousing:
  Support adjacent logistics functions as needed, including fill room preparation, materials picking, inventory issuing, warehouse shipping/receiving, and local goods distribution.

Must Have Skills / Requirements

• Work Style Alignment:
  Comfort with a highly regimented, structured manufacturing environment, including remaining at the same production station for long periods.

• Physical & Repetitive Dexterity:
  Ability to complete repetitive manual assembly, inspection, and packing work efficiently while maintaining accurate output quality.

• Soft Skills & Independence: A strong willingness to learn, an independent work ethic, excellent verbal communication skills, and the capacity to collaborate well with a diverse production team.

• Language & Math Foundations:
  Functional literacy to follow technical written SOPs, perform basic mathematical equations, navigate basic computer applications, and display good, legible penmanship.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• While no prior experience is explicitly required, 1–2 years of experience within an Operations, Production, filling, or warehouse setting is a plus.

• Prior experience operating within a cGMP/GMP regulated manufacturing environment (such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or diagnostics).

• Strong mechanical aptitude, advanced mathematical comfort, or advanced computer skills.

    Candidates displaying these traits will be actively considered for cross-training into higher-skilled, technical production positions as facility openings arise.

Physical Demands & Logistics

• Capability to safely and repetitively lift and maneuver components weighing up to 50 lbs.

Education & Experience

  0–2 years of general operations experience; entry-level candidates willing to learn are encouraged to apply.

Term:
Contract Assignment Interview Process: A single, 1-hour on-site interview which explicitly includes a formal tour of the active production lines to observe the daily position requirements firsthand.
