Overview
Lead Forging Operations. Drive Safety, Quality & Performance. We are seeking a skilled Forge Supervisor with hands-on experience in Drop Forge and Screw Press operations to lead our production team. This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality forging operations while developing a strong and engaged workforce.
Responsibilities- Lead daily operations across drop forge, screw press, saw, grinding, and inspection areas
- Plan and coordinate production to meet output targets and delivery schedules
- Supervise, coach, and develop a high-performing hourly team
- Monitor production performance and report daily metrics
- Ensure all forging processes meet strict quality and process standards
- Inspect dies, presses, and work-in-process; identify issues and drive corrective actions
- Support and manage tooling, dies, and forging parameters
- Train and onboard new employees in forging operations
- Set work schedules and optimize productivity
- Participate in technical reviews of forging processes and improvements
- Enforce safety policies and regulatory compliance at all times
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean principles
- Support special projects and operational improvements
- Hands-on experience with Drop Forge and/or Screw Press operations is REQUIRED
- Strong understanding of forging processes, die handling, heating, and metal flow
- Experience troubleshooting forging defects and production challenges
- Bachelor’s degree preferred OR High School Diploma + 5+ years of experience in a forging/manufacturing environment
- Proven leadership experience in a forge shop or heavy manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with tooling and process optimization
- Six Sigma knowledge is a plus
- Lead critical drop forge and screw press operations
- Work in a hands-on, team-oriented environment

The range of pay for this role is $95,000 to $115,000 USD. Salaried based on a variety of factors. This role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out quarterly based on company performance. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off per year and 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company’s medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan. The final pay offered will depend on factors such as experience, education, and industry background.
This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations. To comply with those regulations, this position may require applicants to be U.S. Persons or eligible to obtain export authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or the U.S. Department of Commerce.
