Location: Blansingburg
This job is responsible for preparing Ambulances and Rescue auto bodies for painting process by sanding, buffing and/or washing vehicles.
Essential Functions Statement(s)- Sand and buff auto bodies, using hand held tools in a continual repetitive motion, to prepare for painting
- Wash auto body in preparation for painting
- Ability to move quickly between tasks required to prepare vehicle for painting
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Other duties as assigned
- High school graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- 6 months to 1 year of related experience in minor body work paint prep and reassembly
- Basic computer literacy is preferred
Physical Requirements
- Hand tools
- Moderate to heavy dust conditions
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (dusk mask and/or respirator apparatus)
- Being able to push/pull over 50lbs.
- Lift over 15lbs
