About the Role:
We are seeking a Packaging Operator to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As a Packaging Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating packaging equipment, monitoring packaging quality, and ensuring adherence to production schedules and safety standards.

Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $20 – $21.25
Core Accountabilities:
- Ensure adherence to daily production, packaging, and bagging schedules.
- Set up and adjust case erector measurements and bag inserter programming.
- Monitor and verify bag sealing temperatures, box strength, and packaging quality.
- Operate packaging equipment and communicate maintenance concerns promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Utilize Aspire AOE training with Centerline and CIL daily management systems.
- Participate in root cause analysis, area walks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Two years of related manufacturing experience and/or training, or equivalent combination.
- Ability to read and interpret production schedules, safety rules, and operating instructions.
- Ability to complete routine reports and speak effectively before groups.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ability to learn new software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in packaging operations within a food manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement tools and processes.
