Job Title: Warehouse Operator
Location: Branchburg, NJ
Type: Contract to Hire
Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00/hr (based on experience)
Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 7 a.m.
- 3 p.m. (must be able to work overtime and Saturdays when needed)
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operator to join a fast-paced FDA/cGMP manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for shipping, receiving, material handling, inventory movement, and supporting production operations while maintaining compliance with FDA, cGMP, and food safety standards.
Responsibilities- Operate forklifts safely to move materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
- Perform shipping and receiving activities, including UPS and Fed Ex shipments.
- Pull, load, transport, and stage materials according to production schedules.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Maintain accurate inventory and material movement records.
- Repack materials (1 kilogram or more) as required.
- Prepare Bills of Lading for inter-warehouse transfers.
- Coordinate outbound shipments and customer deliveries.
- Support manufacturing by ensuring timely material availability.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow all FDA, cGMP, and FSSC 22000 standards and company safety procedures.
- High School Diploma or Trade School Diploma required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of warehouse experience in an FDA/cGMP manufacturing environment.
- Forklift operating experience required.
- Working knowledge of FDA regulations, cGMP, and warehouse best practices.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
