A contract development and manufacturing organization that specializes in producing topical, semi-solid, and liquid pharmaceutical products for both prescription and over‑the‑counter markets. It supports clients through formulation, scale‑up, manufacturing, and packaging, with a strong focus on quality, regulatory compliance, and speed to market.

Position Summary

This is a cross‑functional position involved in many aspects of the manufacturing of pharmaceutical products. As a pharmaceutical operator, you will be responsible for many aspects of the process, including but not limited to dispensing, granulation, compression/encapsulation, capsule banding, liquid manufacturing, film coating and tablet printing.

Essential Functions
  • Perform all the duties necessary to compress and encapsulate drug products, including the setup and use of manufacturing equipment such as tablet presses, capsule fillers, dedusters, metal detectors, disintegration testers, friabilators, tablet and capsule in‑process weight check systems, hardness testers and micrometers.
  • Perform all the duties necessary to maintain compression and encapsulation tooling as per procedures.
  • Perform all the duties necessary to film coat drug products, including the setup and use of manufacturing equipment such as various size coating pans, solution tanks, spray guns and mixers.
  • Properly clean, label and transport all in‑process and finished products to the designated storage area, maintain the immediate work area in a clean and safe manner, and perform room and equipment cleanings as needed.
  • Verify raw materials from the warehouse for dispensing and verify the identity of the materials for accuracy and compliance.
  • Utilize the current dispensing systems of scales and balances to accurately weigh, dispense and label raw materials for manufacturing.
  • Accurately prepare for return to the warehouse all partial raw material containers and dispose of all empty raw material drums as per current SOPs.
  • Check for accuracy all materials delivered from the dispensing area and all in‑process materials from the prior unit operation as per current SOP.
  • Perform all the duties necessary to granulate and compound drug products, including the setup and use of manufacturing equipment such as granulators, mixers, fluid bed dryers, tray dryers, conical cylinders, fitz mills, steam kettles, sample tools, moisture balances, thermometers, and pumps.
  • Clearly and accurately complete all required GMP documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Shift: 3pm - 11:30pm.

Position Qualifications
  • 3+ years working in pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Mechanically inclined candidates are preferred.
  • Computer literacy and solid communication skills (in English) are a must.
  • Must demonstrate basic math skills.
  • Solid understanding of cGMP practices and concepts.
  • Comprehends and adheres to all pertinent Health and Safety Regulations, Policies and Procedures.
  • Comprehends and adheres to all cGMPs and other regulatory requirements.
  • Comprehends and adheres to all related SOPs, batch records, and protocols.
  • Required to use all approved and issued PPE as directed by policy and procedure.
  • Completes all required training activities.
  • Manual dexterity is required.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • May be required to twist/bend.
  • Must be able to move about the production area and facility.
  • Must be able to remain in an upright position for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to ascend/descend a ladder.
