Cannabis Vape Jet Production Technician
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Cannabis Vape Jet Production Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining Vape Jet automated filling equipment while ensuring all cannabis vape cartridges and cannabis infused pre-rolls meet company quality standards and state regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced production environment, values precision, and takes pride in producing high-quality products safely and efficiently.
Essential Responsibilities
- Set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot Vape Jet automated machinery before and during production cycles.
- Operate and monitor automated filling equipment to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform routine cleaning, sanitization, and preventative maintenance on machines.
- Identify mechanical issues and communicate maintenance requirements promptly.
- Fill, cap, inspect, and package cannabis vape cartridges according to established production schedules.
- Maintain safety standards when handling cannabis oils, distillates, live resin, rosin, and other types of concentrates.
- Incorporate diamond isolate, distillates, live resin, and rosin into cannabis to prepare it for infused pre-roll production.
- Conduct ongoing quality checks by monitoring cartridge functionality, fill weights, and overall product appearance.
- Meet daily production goals while maintaining strict quality standards.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and state cannabis regulations.
- Maintain accurate production records and batch documentation.
- Keep work spaces clean, organized, and inspection-ready at all times.
- Adhere to workplace safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Track inventory levels for hardware, cartridges, oils, and other packaging supplies.
- Assist with material reconciliation and physical inventory counts.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Packaging, and Manufacturing departments.
- Onboard and train new production technicians when required.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- Prior background in cannabis production or operating automated manufacturing equipment is highly valued.
- Experience with Vape Jet machinery is strongly preferred.
- Experience incorporating cannabis oils, distillates, live resin, rosin, and other types of concentrates into cannabis material.
- Outstanding attention to detail and ability to strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Solid organizational skills coupled with consistent, accurate record-keeping.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Comfort working productively in a strictly regulated cannabis production facility.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team.
- Physical capacity to sit, stand, bend throughout the shift and routinely lift up to 50 pounds.
