Job Description
- Review and interpret batch sheets to determine correct tanks, mixers, process piping, and preparation steps for each batch.
- Select, weigh, and stage raw materials according to batch sheet specifications and GMP requirements.
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment including mixers, pumps, tanks, valves, and forklifts to produce batches to specification.
- Mix chemicals and ingredients according to defined procedures, ensuring batches meet all process parameters and quality standards.
- Analyze and understand critical process parameters for various product lines, making appropriate adjustments within defined limits.
- Track and record production data from customer orders, work tickets, product specifications, and individual production sheets.
- Calculate, track, and document key production metrics such as quantities produced, materials used, scrap generated, and frequency of defects.
- 1st shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Mon - Fri with plenty of optional overtime available
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience as a batch maker, chemical operator, or similar role in a food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of production procedures, including reading and interpreting batch sheets and following defined process steps.
- Hands-on experience with batch mixing, blending, and compound preparation in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to operate manufacturing equipment such as mixers, pumps, tanks, valves, and sit-down forklifts.
- Proficiency with batching documentation and batch record review in a CGMP and FDA-regulated environment.
- Ability to use an RF scanner to track raw materials and finished products within an SAP or similar ERP system.
- 2+ years experience operating forklift equipment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cinnaminson, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
